Sparklers Blog: Celebrate Grace

I started a blog and shared the good, the bad, and the ugly of the days of navigating my grief long ago.   I hope those who discovered it forgive me for my ramblings, my naivete, and my not knowing how to develop a professional site. Each person’s kind responses and sharing of their needs got me through the worst of those days.  We were a community, one holding up the other through the grace of God.

There will be new ones, but first I want to share the old ones before I let them go. Sure, I can delete them now, as I’m starting with a newer version of myself, celebrating God’s grace with every step I’ve taken. But it would be like deleting that part of me that survived. As poorly written as they are, I share them, for now, unedited, hoping that if they help one person, then sharing my vulnerability will make not only my words matter but the life I have lived matter too.

Everyone has a story...

Linda's writing journey began with her grandmother's voice reading bible stories to her, even before she could understand most of the words. With her vivid imagination, she started telling her own stories in her own words. When she learned to read, her world expanded so much that joy spilled over into her storytelling.

Fact or fiction, Linda always discovers the best within the stories and in the doing,  gives hope for readers, one story at a time.
